Washington County Deputy Rian Alden Arrested for Attacking Inmate

Washington County Sheriff's Deputy Rian Alden was finally suspended and arrested earlier this month for attacking an inmate in 2018. Inmate Albert Molina was seriously injured when Deputy Alden suddenly ran up to him, shoved him against a wall, grabbed him by the throat, and threw him on the floor. Molina spent the next 19 days in the hospital and racked up over $100,000 in medical bills. Normally, the government pays medical bills for inmates taken to the hospital, but if they change their status to released then the bill goes to the former inmate. Molina is now represented by the law firm Kafoury and McDougal, a well known law firm in the Portland area. Molina's lawyers call the video "grotesque" and are doing all they can to get justice for their client. Their efforts helped convince the county to finally suspend and charge Alden. The likelihood of Molina's claims succeeding has never been higher. Public records contain the following information about Rian Eugene Alden: RIAN EUGENE ALDEN MALE DOB: AUG-1979 AGE: 40 CRIMINAL RECORDS: FAIL TO CARRY PROOF FIN RESP - 1998 FAIL OBEY TRAFFIC CONTROL DEV - 1998 VIOL OF BASIC RULE - 1999 FAIL OBEY TRAFFIC CONTROL DEV - 1997 DWS/VIOLATION - 1999 OPR W/O REQUIRED LIGHT EQUIP- 1999 DWS/INFRACTION - 1999 OPR MOTOR VEH NO DRIVERS LIC - 1999 VIOL OF BASIC RULE - 1999 VIOL OF BASIC RULE - 2002 VIOLATING THE BASIC SPEED RULE... - 2002 VIOL OF BASIC RULE - 1997 FAIL OBEY TRAFFIC CONTROL DEV - 1997 RECENT ADDRESS HISTORY 18118 NW WALKER RD APT F BEAVERTON, OR 97006 2015 - Now 18272 NW WALKER RD APT E BEAVERTON, OR 97006 2015 - 2019 485 CEDAR CREEK CIR ROCKAWAY BEACH, OR 97136 2019 - 2019 That last address appears to be owned by relatives of Alden, so he could easily be there. We normally do not post addresses of currently employed law enforcement officers, but we are making exceptions right now for officers caught on camera doing violent things that should get them fired and arrested. Normally, the streets are not filled with peaceful protesters that sometimes picket the homes of bad officers demanding justice. We support these protesters and want to make this information available to them at no cost. We believe that anyone that really wants it would end up paying some other website for it anyway, so by making this information available here we are saving people money while encouraging people to peacefully protests as effectively as possible.#rianalden #washingtoncountyjail #assault #albertmolina
