Officer Katie Crews of the Louisville Metro Police Department is on administrative leave after the shooting of David McAtee. What exactly happened has not been made clear to the public. What is known is that there was an incident involving Katie Crews, Austin Allen, unidentified National Guard soldiers, and David McAtee. When the incident was over with it turned out that officers Crews and Austin did not have their body cameras turned on. Now it is the word of the officers vs. the evidence and anyone else that questions what happened. There is some video as you can see below.
