Former Atlanta Police Officer Mark Gardner Fired For Taser Attack

Former Atlanta Police Department officer Mark Gardner was fired after attacking a pair of college students for filming him and fellow officers arrest a protester following a peaceful demonstration against the murder of George Floyd. The officers chased down the vehicle after it drove by them slowly while filming and could not get away due to traffic congestion. When the driver rolled up his windows, they smashed it out and tased him repeatedly. At times the tasing lasted several seconds. It is well known that prolonged tasing such as that is life threatening. The passenger was a young black woman that did nothing wrong. The officers opened the passenger door and attacked her as well. Officer Ivory Streeter was also fired https://ift.tt/3cvChRo #ivorystreeter #assault
