Buffalo Police Officer Robert McCabe Arrested for Assaulting Old Man

Buffalo Police officer Robert McCabe was charged this morning with second degree assault for his role in the violent shoving of 75 year old activist Martin Gugino. Fellow officer Aaron Torgalski was also charged with the same crime and arraigned alongside McCabe. It was Torgalski that delivered the near fatal shove that left Gugino bleeding out of his ears on the sidewalk. The Erie County District Attorney said that when police see people breaking the law they just take them away and arrest them instead of shoving him with a baton. A simple solution for a simple situation, but he really shouldn't have arrested Gugino either because Gugino was just filming the police on a pubic sidewalk.
