Steven Pohorence Suspended: Ft. Lauderdale Cops Do Their Own Laundry

Fort. Lauderdale Police officer Steven Andrew Pohorence has been suspended after fellow officer Krystle Smith stopped him from assaulting a peaceful protester. The incident was caught on camera where you can see a man attacking a woman that was kneeling on the ground. Then a black female officer pulls him off of her and makes him leave. Krystle Smith is now a symbol for good cops policing themselves. She deserves the praise 100%. If she had been in Minneapolis with Derek Chauvin then George Floyd would still be alive. Whenever a cop sees a fellow officer assault a civilian they have a duty to stop them like Krystle Smith did. Steven Pohorence has since been suspended.
