James L. Robertson (43) from St Charles, Missouri was discovered to be a paid informant for the local police department as well as working with several private investigators and local government agencies. Robertson has been categorized as an informant but has been previously hired by a private investigator to "hack" into a number of different computers and cell phones used by criminals. Robertson also brought his findings to the courts as evidence in these cases. Robertson is a convict himself and is thought to have agreed to providing information in exchange for a lesser prison sentence. #informant
