If you have a friend or family member in the Special Housing Unit (SHU) at FCI Sheridan and you are wondering why they never seem to get out of SHU these rules are probably why. If enforced they can drive any inmate insane. This author knows. I was in the SHU at FCI Sheridan off and on in 2018 for many months and when I was there I just got write-up after write-up simply for trying to do my own thing on my own time. On top of that don't even think about standing up for your rights that will get you into all kinds of problems.
