Speedway Police Officer Brandon Thompson Arrested for Drunk Driving

Speedway Police Officer Brandon Thompson was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) early this morning near Lawndale Avenue north of Rockville Road in Indianapolis. The Speedway Police Department (SPD) quickly suspended Thompson without pay. Thompson was a probationary officer that had only been with the department since February. We doubt that he will ever become a real officer due to this incident. We tracked down Thompson's booking information on the Indy jail website, saved it as a PDF, and are uploading it with this article. The file lists Thompson's date of birth as March 3, 1999. He is six feed one inch tall and weighs 157 pounds. He is a white male with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was released this morning at 11:05.
