How Easy is it to Find Nancy Pelosi's Home Address Online?
When Nancy Pelosi's husband Paul Pelosi was allegedly attacked with a hammer at the couple's San Francisco home last week, people were quick to blame to internet for making her address too easy for David DePape to find. What they don't tell you is that the internet has a constitutional right to disseminate the home addresses of government officials to people. The internet has that right because the internet is run primarily by people who as people in the United States have constitutional rights. Those rights include the right to freedom speech and the right peaceably to assemble. Those rights are frustrated whenever an outlier such as this is exploited to restrict the free flow of information. We were debating whether to say anything about this until we noticed Judge Esther Salas on CNN advocating for a bill which would make it illegal to post home addresses of judges and lawmakers online. Judge Salas lost her son two years ago when a men's rights lawyer came to her home looking for her and shot him instead. She has been fighting to restrict the availability of home addresses online ever since. Such incidents while tragic are extremely rare. Restricting the ability to publish home addresses of government officials just because a small minority of people use them for violent purposes sometimes would unnecessarily violate the First Amendment rights of Americans. We don't know exactly how David DePape found Pelosi's address but he probably found it online easily. Pelosi is so famous that her home address is prominently featured on websites about homes of celebrities. You can find a link to one such example on a site called Velvet Ropes above the map on this page. When someone becomes so famous that their fame alone leads to people posting their address because people are generally curios about how the rich and famous live, they fall into a category of person whose expectation of privacy is significantly less than most. Judge Salas can at least maintain that she wasn't rich enough or famous enough to make her home an object of innocent public intrigue. Pelosi is on another level entirely. Pelosi is on the same level as people like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mitt Romney and Donald Trump all of whose homes are also featured on Velvet Ropes. Politicians differ from judges and other government officials in another important way. They often are required to register their home address when running for office. In our state we can find out the home address of anyone whose run for office simply by going to the Secretary of State's website and typing in their names. Re-posting their addresses with critical articles on this site just saves readers the time of having to track it down elsewhere. Even if Pelosi's address were removed from sites like Velvet Ropes it would still be available for a small fee elsewhere. We ran the names Nancy and Paul Pelosi through a background check database we subscribe to and found their addresses listed under a misspelling of Paul's middle name. It appears someone likely got the records for both of their names properly spelled removed from public records databases only to miss a record for Paul Francisc Pelosi which is actually a record for Paul Francis Pelosi. That record included the above listed address as well as the following address: 3030 K ST NW APT 214 WASHINGTON, DC 20007 Both locations are legitimate targets for non-violent activism such as peaceful picketing and mailing of non-threatening letters. They're also legitimate locations for film crews from all over the world to film following a high profile attack such as the one allegedly carried out by DePape. We have repeatedly posted home addresses of government officials for the purpose of helping others protest peacefully at locations where they know they will be heard. We posted the home address of the former head of Homeland Security shortly before a group protested outside his home against the conduct of his staff in Portland, Oregon during the 2020 protests. That led to a federal officer asking us about it the same day Chad Wolf visited Portland. We stuck to our guns and didn't remove his information until he resigned. If we were breaking the law we would have surely been arrested. We fully support the right of Pelosi's opponents to picket her homes and send her non-threatening letters at those locations. That is why we are including those addresses in this article. We are also including them because we know others will likely remove that information or refrain from posting it just because of one guy. We on the other hand know that often a critical article has no teeth without an address. Often we've heard of complaints filed with government agencies to the effect of "I would just ignore that article but it has my address." That often puts the people in charge of whether to remove it or not in a position to negotiate more favorable terms. That would not be possible if Congress were to pass some unconstitutional law against posting home addresses of government officials. Lower legislators have tried doing that in the past only to find their work declared unconstitutional in court (https://ift.tt/jqkNMd7). When we began posting addresses of law enforcement personnel years ago it was in response to law enforcement posting the former address of our founder on Justive.gov in a press release. He figured two could play that game so he posted the home addresses of almost every law enforcement officer, prosecutor, judge, and snitch involved in his federal case. He then conditioned the blocking of that information on the removal of his old address from DOJ websites. The feds capitulated and you won't find that on their websites anymore. That would not have been possible had it been illegal to copy addresses from public records and re-post them elsewhere on the internet. All he would have been able to do is complain which would have probably resulted in a response to the effect of the dissemination of that address being among his reasons for sending someone a threatening email, so they felt the need to host it themselves so that the public could see it without any members of the public being at risk of reprisal. That case can basically be summed up as controversial webmaster gets doxxed for refusing to remove content, webmaster threatens to kill doxxer, doxxer removes dox, government throws book at webmaster for making death threat and doxxes webmaster to teach him that any effort to use violence as a means to suppress information about himself will only result in the government posting it themselves. Our founder also managed to get a federal judge to recuse himself simply by mailing a letter to the judge at his home from jail asking him to recuse himself. Federal judges rarely recuse themselves. He also handed the judge's address out to his fellow inmates at a federal detention center so that they could do the same thing. None of that would have been possible had it not been for data brokers exercising their rights. That judge didn't just recuse himself, the court put out an SOS for an out of district judge and now only judges from other states will hear cases involving him. In his defense, he was overcharged with a crime he did not commit at the time and the judge had been biased against him in previous cases, so he only did what he felt necessary to better set himself up for a fair trial. He eventually received time served after the government's case fell apart. Today this website blocks by default home addresses of police officers, prosecutors, judges, and corrections personnel. The map in such cases defaults to the center of whatever town is listed. While our founder was originally under a supervised release condition prohibiting him from disclosing addresses of government officials to anyone for any reason, he is not on supervision anymore. He decided to keep the block in place because he wants to live in peace with the government if possible. Plus, the government stopped screwing with him for the most part and he felt like reciprocating. Today we only post addresses if we think including them serves a public interest. If we think an address is likely be useful for protesters we will post it. We also post addresses in cases involving sex crimes to warn people of predators in their area. Those activities would be frustrated if it suddenly became illegal to post that information. We fear that this incident will be exploited in ways that keep people from making their voices heard. As if mitigating the risk of another DePape is worth stopping everyone from sharing the information they need to organize lawful pickets outside the homes of government officials or organize letter writing campaigns. We have noticed over the years that protests at homes tend to be far more peaceful than protests outside government buildings. We think that is because people know they're being heard outside a home while the official usually feels free to ignore them entirely if they picket a government building unless the building is damaged. They also seem to recognize the sensitive nature of a home and are far less likely to break anything. The far-right and far-left are both known for such protests. The far-left pickets the homes of Supreme Court injustices for violating the reproductive rights of women (https://ift.tt/gyHC3Im). The far-right pickets the homes of police officers that arrest women for taking their kids to public parks during COVID lockdowns without wearing masks (https://ift.tt/vG2sioB). We support the rights of both groups to do such things. Historically, Pelosi's home is known for being a target of peaceful protesters as well as curious tourists (https://ift.tt/GAYelCO). There was an incident of vandalism last year in which someone spray painted "cancel rent" among other things (https://ift.tt/GikF2vD). It seems like everyone knows where she lives and are free to come or go as they wish. They might as well stop calling it the Pelosi house and start calling it the peoples house. Arguing that nobody should be legally capable of posting the home addresses of government officials just because they're targeted for violence sometimes is like arguing for "gun control" on the grounds that there would be no shootings without guns. All the government hopes they need to take your guns away is a few more psychos shooting up schools. Likewise, all the government hopes they need to take your voice away is a few crazies showing up at their homes. Don't let either tactic fool you. Guns and the free flow of information are necessary for the security of a free state. #nancypelosi #paulpelosi #daviddepape #assault #congress

Oklahoma City Officer Dean Forbes Arrested for Stealing Cocaine
Oklahoma City Police Officer Dean Forbes was arrested last week after he was found unconscious from a cocaine overdose. His wife was also found unconscious from a cocaine overdose the following day and quickly told investigators that the two were spending thousands of dollars a month on cocaine. Officer Forbes has since admitted to stealing cocaine from abandoned and stolen cars. He claimed to have no intention of actually using the drugs and that he only took them as trophies. Officer Forbes also admitted planning his drug use around his work schedule to avoid failing drug tests. He denies selling drugs but admits to distributing cocaine at parties. Despite all this Officer Forbes remains on the books as an official Oklahoma City Police officer but on administrative leave. Officer Forbes' full name is Dean Yancy Walt Forbes and his wife is Sandra Forbes. Judging by the video below they appear to live in cheap manufactured home despite Officer Forbes alone making over $88,000 last year (https://ift.tt/MXB9SKc). Clearly he spent so much on something that he couldn't afford a decent home. #deanforbes #cocaine #theft #

Phoenix Officer Michael Martinez Busted for Sex with Prostitute
Phoenix Police officer Michael Martinez was arrested recently for having sex with a prostitute while off duty. He is accused of meeting multiple women online and convincing one to let him pay her $100 for 20 minutes of her time. Martinez later admitted to paying the woman $100 and spending 20-25 minutes with her. Martinez also told investigators that he thought he was meeting with an escort which he believed to be different than a prostitute. Martinez used CashApp to pay the woman. Martinez remains employed by the Phoenix Police Department but has been re-assigned to work remotely from home. #michaelmartinez #prostitution #cashapp

David Cahill Vermont Used AI and social media to make jury pools
I reported to the state that it was leaked that they were using AI to choose jury pools and in a week or 2 Cahill was fired. I didn't specify name anyone i just made it clear this was a practice and it should be check to see if it was being done. I my self fell victims to their jury rigging so i looked deeper into how they could possibly be doing it and i found a jem by sheer chance. I had a seething angry liberal jury purly upset at me for being a gun owner , they stirred the pot at the introduction they told the jury they were not allowed to read anything about the laws i was being charged with and then gave jury instructions that if i did anything the police didn't like then they must convict me, i asked my lawyer how this was legal and he said everything is fine. they entire case was based off a fog light pointed at the ground, i pulled over to a friends place we spoke , the officer explained to me he was taking my vehicle from private property so i asked him if he had a warrant to do so, they said no, so i said the F -&* you are.. and that what the jury convicted me on i got 3 year i just served for obstruction. they wouldn't allow me to have say or be at my appeal they lied to me when it was to take place, the judge the prosecutor and my own lawyers hung me out to dry and told the world i took a officers gun and tried to kill them with it. but nothing like this ever happened... the system is rigged #vt #windsorcounty #statesattorney

Brewster Officer Fernando Quinones Indicted for False Arrest
Brewster Police officer Fernando Quinones was indicted last week for falsely arresting a man last year. In the video below, you can see Quinones accost Alexander King in the parking lot outside the Brewster Police station where he'd gone to file a complaint against him. Quinones was accused of harassing King after writing him a traffic citation earlier this year. City leaders originally defended Quinones and blamed King for responding aggressively to being ticketed. King was charged with assault, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct. The charges were later dropped. Quinones is now charged with falsifying business records, offering a false instrument and making a false statement plus official misconduct. Quinones faces up to 4 years in prison if convicted. He was already on disability related to an alleged injury unrelated to King. #fernandoquinones #alexanderking #falsearrest #assault

Viral Video Shows Officer Body Slammed by High School Student
A Florida high school student proved he deserves a wrestling scholarship by body slamming a police officer last week. Unfortunately, this campus hero did not get the treatment he deserved. Rather than help him take a stand against government overreach, school staff members and some students came to the officer's aid. The boy was subsequently kidnapped by the government and held hostage as a political prisoner, but was probably released. The officer, Russell Ball, is an 18 year veteran of the Saint Cloud Police Department who has been employed as a school resource officer at Saint Cloud High School for the past 12 years. Probably though it would be an easy job and obviously got way too comfortable. Should have known someone would eventually recognize police officers as the threats to campus safety that they are and do something about it. The boy now faces charges of assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest with violence for his heroism. #russellball #assault #wrestling #governmentoverreach

Senator Mike Lee Tries to Censor Internet with User Verification Bill
Utah Republican Senator Mike Lee thinks the government has the right to impose user screening requirements and fines on any website which doesn't response to some types of abuse complaints within 24 or 72 hours. His ridiculous bill, which he calls the "Preventing Rampant Online Technological Exploitation and Criminal Trafficking Act" or "PROTECT Act" is packaged as a much needed solution to child and revenge pyrography but if left unchecked it could create a legal framework capable of being used to fine websites huge amounts of money for not prescreening user uploads or responding to complaints within specific timeframes. It is also an overly broad attempt to violate the First Amendment rights of webmasters by forcing them to engage in speech against their will. If it becomes law it will force sites like PornHub to leave the country or change to the point of being unrecognizable, it will cost people their jobs, and it will put the privacy of adult entertainers at risk. The most obvious flaw of the PROTECT Act in its current form is its failure to distinguish between porn sites and regular websites. While the bill claims to primarily target popular adult platforms like PornHub, it defines a "covered provider" as "an interactive computer service that hosts or makes available to the general public pornographic images." That definition does not distinguish between sites that intentionally host adult content and those that don't. One could conceivably expose this website to a fine simply by uploading a pornographic image and reporting it for not having verified the age of the user or the consent of all depicted persons. Then they could get the site into even more trouble simply by submitting a removal request if the site doesn't process the request in less than 72 hours. I would no longer feel free to leave town on a 4 day weekend without worrying that somebody might upload a nude and complain at a time when I won't be able to do anything about it in 72 hours. Even in cases where someone could conceivable find time to respond to complaints withing 72 hours, that time frame is still unreasonable. First, it is often best to wait at least one week before responding to user complaints in revenge cases. If you remove revenge posts too quickly you're liable to agitate the authors and provoke more posts on platforms outside your control. A week gives people plenty of time to calm down before you shut them up. Often they calm down enough to remove their own work which is how stuff usually gets removed from my platforms. Forcing people to wait also forces them to figure things out for themselves like how to contact the author and complain to the source of their problem directly. I learned over a decade ago that if you wait at least a week before reviewing allegedly abusive URLs that a good many of them will likely be gone by then. Then you can focus on the rest. Responding within 72 hours would essentially require a response to every complaint no matter what and inevitably lead to displaced users uploading elsewhere. Anyone so pissed off at somebody that they'd upload a naked picture of them needs a cooling off period. Dr. Charlotte Laws recently described angry user displacement as a "seesaw" effect because "People [can get] very angry when they're silenced, and it makes them more ferocious in their views" (https://ift.tt/ECfZrD6). Laws was commenting on the takedown of KiwiFarms.net which was allegedly nothing more than a harassment site where people's names would go up and trolls would stalk them. I personally signed up for KiwiFarms to chime in on a discussion about a New York Times piece which included what I believe to be a false accusation blaming this website for harassing phone calls a business received (https://ift.tt/iPgVYbq). If anyone made any harassing phone calls in that case it was probably Antifa. Wasn't long before users started calling me a homosexual and telling me to kill myself. Displaced KiwiFarms users are now resorting to sites like Gab.com and 8kun.top to express themselves. If PornHub is required to check identification cards then amateur pornographers will surely turn to other platforms. Those platforms will likely be foreign porn sites and non-pornographic sites vulnerable to abuse. The PROTECT Act threatens to fine websites $10,000 per image for each day a non-age verified image remains on the site after the site has been informed of the violation by the Attorney General and 24 hours has passed. This would essentially force webmasters to check their email every day which is completely unreasonable. Imagine leaving town for just two days only to find a $10,000 fine waiting when you get back just because some government punk emailed you a notice over 24 hours earlier. Unless of course the government only considers you on notice if they can prove you opened and read their email, you know they will try to consider people on notice when they send it. It should be a strong defense that proof of an email being sent is not proof that its receipt is known to the recipient. This is especially true with notices submitted to commercial websites via contact forms because of other business and spam. I have a couple sites that have gotten so much spam submitted via their contact forms that I've missed many complaints just because I didn't notice them amongst the spam. I tried using re-captcha but the spam bots can solve it now. There is a good chance of webmasters not noticing abuse complaints due to spam alone. When a webmaster knows about child porn being on their site they are obligated to remove it promptly, but you can't go around expecting someone to check their email every day, notice every abuse complaint in their inbox, or hire an employee. I always remove porn when I see it because I don't run any porn sites, but if I did there is no way I could reasonably be expected to know about such notices within 24 hours without working 7 days a week or hiring someone and being lucky enough to notice every abuse complaint I receive. The PROTECT Act threatens to fine webmasters $5,000 for each day they don't display a "prominently visible notice on the website or mobile application of the covered platform that provides instructions on how a person can request the removal of a pornographic image." The government cannot force people to say anything they don't want to say. Telling every website to display a notice constitutes forced speech in violation of the First Amendment. If Senator Lee wants to violate my First Amendment rights I'll exercise them in other ways that he will notice and will not like. The PROTECT Act would require every website operator to have at least one employee, "(2) designate 1 or more employees of the operator to be responsible for handling requests for removal of pornographic images." That is completely unreasonable. Website operators capable and willing to respond promptly to complaints would be forced to hire an employee just to say that there is at least one employee of the operator responsible for handling removal requests. Nobody would be able to launch a website without hiring an employee. Nobody really needs employees just to run a website. You might need employees to make a website great, but not to keep it online. If you have the right skillset you can run as many sites as you want without having to hire anyone. I have such a skillset. I was able to run this site from jail simply by hosting it offshore and making sure it was paid up. Being subjected to an unconstitutional order from the District Court prohibiting me from having anything to do with this site as a condition of pre-trial detention changed nothing. You can forget about anyone launching a website anonymously without breaking the law simply because you can't hire someone without being required by law to report what you pay them to the IRS. It would create so much paperwork it might as well require webmasters to register with the government like sex offenders. Even if the bill is amended to restrict covered platforms to just those which allow users to upload porn without violating their terms of service, the timeframes and requirement to hire an employee alone will bankrupt most small to medium sized sites based in the United States. They would be forced to choose between shutting down, leaving the country, or violating the law. That last one could potentially be accomplished with the right combination of offshore servers and bank accounts or foreign trusts, but it would require the operator to live without seizable assets in the states. Leaving the country would be much better than staying here and operating illegally. PornHub could easily afford to pay off the government in many shithole countries. They would simply uproot and move to wherever they can keep operating as usual. If U.S. based porn sites like PornHub were to shut down or be limited to just verified content a huge void would be created. A void which could easily be filled by opportunistic American expat pedophile sex tourists in third world countries. Would you rather PornHub be replaced by something new run by a pedophile in a place like Cambodia? There are places where the worst they have to worry about if they get caught raping a child is a year in jail (https://ift.tt/1Vfv4gq). The authorities in such places are not likely to do much if anything about a site like PornHub even if it stopped removing child porn. They'd likely accept bribes and let the webmaster do whatever he wants. If you have enough money there is always a shithole somewhere willing to let you live like a king for the right price. At least sites like PornHub are run by people willing to take down child and revenge pornography when they find out about it. That could easily change if people were forced offshore to upload anonymously. Anonymity is extremely important to many adult entertainers. They don't use their real names for a reason. Imagine what would happen if a site like PornHub gets hacked and the real names of their users dumped online with images of their identification. They'd always be worried about that leak showing up on Google again. A major porn site will get hacked eventually. Having to submit identification with your homemade porn will have a significant chilling effect on legitimate expression. Fortunately, I don't see this bill ever becoming law in its current form. I think the broad language will be corrected so that it only targets sites that knowingly and intentionally host adult content. However, that still leaves the outrageous timeframes, notices, and hiring requirements. Historically, the government has limited imposing removal requirements on websites to cases involving government data like public records. Background check websites don't remove stuff for free out of the kindness of their hearts. They remove it because they're trafficking in public records obtained from the government and subject to restrictions on how they can be used which includes opt outs. There is no such nexus between porn and the government, so the government has no right to tell copyright holders what to do with their own work. When someone uploads child or revenge pornography the webmasters are victims too. They have to take time out of their day to look at the stuff and remove it because someone else abused their platform. I've never enjoyed removing revenge porn because I am forced to look at it. I voluntarily take time out of my day to take it down just like many other webmasters do. There is only one person responsible for uploading something. The government always targets the worst in society when they want to see what rights we will let them take away from us. They know nobody wants to be seen as advocating for sex offenders so they often target them first. If they succeed then they establish that certain rights can be taken away under some circumstances. Then they will try to establish connections between those circumstances and yours until suddenly you're losing a right you never though you could lose because they took the same right away from a sex offender, so the court now has discretion to take it away under broader circumstances. I read a good example of that in prison a few years ago. There was a law passed which allowed sexually dangerous persons to to be civilly committed following the end of their federal prison terms until deemed safe for re-entry by a psychologist. When a fellow convict pointed that out to me I was like "what are you implying?" Then he pointed out how the law could easily be amended to drop the word "sexually" from "sexually dangerous persons" so that "dangerous persons" deemed "dangerous" by psychology for any reason could be civilly committed instead of released. He was right, so even though I hate sex offenders, I am against civilly committing them because the same logic could be broadly applied to mental illnesses and personality disorders (https://ift.tt/S6E5kvm). In this case they are using extreme examples to establish that they can fine websites for not responding to abuse complaints in some cases even those that don't involve content created by the government. If something like this ever becomes law and holds up in court, they will say, "see we did it with revenge porn" then they will do it to you. Violating people's constitutional rights, invading their privacy, taking jobs away, and creating opportunities for pedophiles overseas is no way for Michael Shumway Lee to make America great again. #mikelee #revengeporn #charlottelaws #censorship #childpornography

Gun shop robbery suspect snitches on co-defendants
This genius decides to attempt to burglarize a small town gun shop, gets caught in broad daylight walking up to the gun shop with gloves and a mask on, gets in a shoot out not with only the employees of the gun shop, but with police as well. Instead of doing her time and letting justice be served, she decides to cooperate with law enforcement to convict her co defendents, one of which she was dating at the time, and by making sure they stay booked she gets a get out of jail free card to run around and do the same bs and get other people caught up #jessicaspalinger#oregon#stopsnitchin#unioncounty#rat

Predator Cop Todd Barraco Busted on Take Down with Chris Hansen
Former Vassar Police officer Todd Barraco was showcased yesterday on Take Down with Chris Hansen. Barraco showed up at a house in Michigan thinking he was going to meet a 15 year old boy for sex but instead met the Genesee County Sheriff's Department. Barraco now faces three charges related to use of the internet to abuse a child. Barraco appears to have left the house as soon as he suspected the decoy inside of not really being a 15 year old boy. He was arrested outside before being brought back in for questioning not by police but by Chris Hansen instead. Barraco repeatedly refused to face any cameras he saw acting as if he could choose not to be on camera but Hansen made it clear cameras were everywhere. Then Hansen confronted Barraco with online chat records which made his intentions clear as did a bottle of lubricant found in Barraco's pocket. According to media reports, Barraco's career history is that of a gypsy cop jumping from job to job. Oddly every job change coincided with him also accepting a position with a school district. Multiple school districts have accused him of behaving inappropriately with students. Chris Hansen needs no introduction. He became famous 20 years ago as the host of To Catch a Predator on Dateline NBC (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbnyRgbANHc). He has been busting pedophiles ever since. According to public records, Todd Andrew Barraco is a 45 year old resident of Lapeer, Michigan. His last known home address is 4562 Genesee Road. We are making that address publicly available to help teenagers know where not to go. Please do not use that information for any unlawful purpose. #toddbarraco #chrishansen #sexoffenders #childmolestation
